FASTER TURNAROUND
Keep more finishing work in-house instead of waiting on outside processing.

A compact Japanese-made patternless edger backed by setup, training, calibration and service from SmartLab Systems.
For practices and labs that send finishing work out, turnaround and rework can become someone else's schedule. The DIA E1000 gives you a compact way to bring more of that finishing capability under your own roof.
Keep more finishing work in-house instead of waiting on outside processing.
Make adjustments, re-edge jobs and respond to fit issues without shipping the work back out. If you are already sending prescription jobs to an outside lab, your cost includes equipment, labor, lens processing and the lab's margin. Bringing more finishing in-house gives you the opportunity to keep more of that value in your own business.
Choose the full-system layout that best fits your counter space and cabinet clearance.
SmartLab can help with setup, calibration, training, service and long-term support.

The E1000 is a multifunctional patternless lens edger designed for everyday optical finishing. It supports common ophthalmic lens materials and brings tracing, edging, re-edging, shape modification, grooving and polishing into one workflow.
The DIA system can be arranged two ways depending on your available counter space and upper-cabinet clearance. Both configurations keep a complete finishing setup within a compact working area.
DIA E1000 EDGER SHOWNThe taller, narrower configuration when vertical clearance allows.
A lower, wider layout for installations where upper cabinets limit height.
The E1000 is designed around the real corrections, repeats and specialty work that happen in a finishing environment.
Built-in sensing can create shape data from a sample lens or pattern without requiring an external tracer.
Re-edge, chamfer, groove or polish a lens even after the lens has already been deblocked.
Change lens size and shape directly within the finishing workflow.
Check whether an existing finished lens has enough dimension to be re-edged for another frame.
Dedicated processing for slippery and hydrophobic-coated lenses.
Store rotating and permanent trace/process data for repeatable jobs.
Shape editing, re-edge controls and a complete layout view help make the workflow visual instead of forcing the operator to guess.
Review and modify lens geometry before processing.
Correct size or finishing details without rebuilding the entire job.

Keep frame, lens and layout information visible in one interface.
Equipment is valuable when it stays productive. SmartLab Systems combines DIA equipment sales with the hands-on service knowledge needed to install, calibrate, train, troubleshoot and support the system over time.
You do not need to know exactly which configuration you need. Start with your current workflow and SmartLab can help determine whether DIA makes sense.
