THE SHORT VERSION

Who is the E1000 for?

It is designed for optical practices and labs that want to bring more finishing work in-house, keep rework under their own control and use a compact countertop system rather than a large floor-standing machine.

WHAT THE E1000 DOES

Built for first-pass finishing, corrections and repeat work.

The machine supports the kinds of jobs that can otherwise create delays when everything has to leave the practice.

SELF LENS-TRACE MODE

Convert a sample lens or pattern plate into shape data using the built-in sensor without an external tracer.

RE-EDGE MODE

Re-edge, chamfer, groove or polish even after the lens cup has been removed.

SHAPE MODIFICATION

Change lens size and shape directly in the machine workflow.

FRAME EXCHANGE EDGING

Check whether a finished lens has enough usable dimension to be re-edged into a different frame.

S-COAT MODE

A dedicated mode for slippery coated lenses such as hydrophobic lenses.

60-JOB MEMORY

40 rotating trace-data jobs plus 20 permanent-memory jobs.

REAL-WORLD SIZE

A roughly 15-inch-square footprint.

The E1000 is 370 mm wide × 370 mm deep × 540 mm high and weighs 39 kg. That is about 14.6\" × 14.6\" × 21.3\" and roughly 86 lb.

FULL SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS

Two ways to configure the complete DIA finishing system.

The E1000 can be paired with the DIA tracer and blocker either on the dedicated stand or in a lower, wider countertop arrangement when cabinet clearance is limited.

The taller, narrower setup keeps the tracer and blocker stacked on the dedicated stand.

14.5"DEEP

The lower, wider arrangement is intended for spaces where upper cabinets limit available height.

OPERATOR WORKFLOW

See the job before it hits the wheel.

Shape editing, re-edge controls and layout information stay visible to the operator throughout the workflow.

DIA 3D shape edit screen

3D Shape Editing

Review and adjust lens geometry before processing.

DIA re-edge screen

Re-Edge Control

Correct sizing or finishing details without rebuilding the entire job.

DIA full layout screen

Full Layout View

Keep lens and frame information visible in one clear interface.

BUYING THE MACHINE IS NOT THE END

SmartLab supports the ownership side, too.

Selection, installation, calibration, operator training, service and troubleshooting can all be part of the relationship. That matters when the machine is part of your daily production workflow.
